The Demand to Take Certification Tests is Increasing

There are several kinds of exams that pharmacy technicians must take. Some of them are nationally accredited and considered as a credible certified exam. Taking this exams will help increase your pharmacy technician salary expectations once you get hired.

The most recent certified exam is the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). This exam is not held with basis of continuous testing and is just a one day test. The result for this exam will be given immediately after the end of exam. This exam is supported by several organizations of pharmacy experts, such as the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). In all, everyone of the 50 states have this exam and it is also administrated in Guam and Puerto Rico and other DANTES exam centers throughout the world.

The demand to be required to take this exam is increasing by employers, instructors and veteran technicians already working in pharmacies. For close to 14 years the data shows that this demand is increasing all the time so that there will be a more strict requirement for certified pharmacy techs. PTCB has granted CPhT to 330,425 pharmacy technician since 1995, in 2008 the candidates who follow the PTCB reached 50,000 technicians.

After all, you should never ignore the sick if you are an LPN, because if you ignore those sick people and their needs, you would never become a great licensed practical nurse. You should keep in mind that you should be mindful of the health needs of people because otherwise, you could never get the sensitivity that is required from people who work for the medical profession in general. Keep in mind that you should see the needs of sick people well so that you would be able to bring forth your profession well.

Learning About Family Practices

I’ve been cruising CompHealth for some listings in regards to family practice jobs. I think I’d like to get involved in a family practice for two main reasons. The first is that it’s time-tested, and generally a very pleasant environment. Of course it would be difficult to get in without necessarily being attached to the family in any capacity, but I think that’s the challenge in it. But as I said, a family practice, I imagine, can usually function like a well-oiled machine, and that’s the sort of thing I want to be a part of. The second reason I want to get a family practice job is that I want to learn how the model works. Someday, I hope to own my own family practice, so I’d like to see how one functions and what to do and not to do when building and managing one. I take a lot of pride in a family mentality, so to be so closely associated with a strong, working family would please me.
